Twiddle Coral Reef

I enjoy finding ways to use hyperbolic crochet on twiddle mats, muffs and cuffs. I certainly find it addictive. You can find lots of wonderful stories about hyperbolic crochet on the internet. Have a look at this site and the numerous ideas:

When I am stuck and have a large space to fill I will often create a twiddle coral reef.

Begin by crocheting single crochet stitches across the space you want to place the twiddle coral reef.
Step 2
On row 2 and every following row make 2 single crochet stitches.
Step 3
Complete the number of rows desired to achieve the “wave”. Experiment to see what you like best.

I like putting coral reefs on cuffs.

A very useful twiddle item and so easy to make. Have fun. Maybe you could work out how to put a small fish within the reef. Wouldn’t that be a wonderful sea theme to create.

Happy creating!
